"fake" in that it fools you to think it was a line caused by the doctor blade! It was NOT, it is a line/scratch on the cylinder itself- I don't know what caused that ! - and it can be found repeatedly on the same position together with other characteristics... It seems now to me that it will be difficult to find "real" doctor blade flaws in the P&R II series!!

After your clarification I agree with you if we consider that doctor blade flaws should show inclined if we consider its lateral continuos movement. I´ll try to find out more in my next visit to CdM.

I have found this block, the image is big but it is very interesting, the lines of the border of the images seem that was used to align the transfer roll, it is a scratched cylinder but is very estrange that the scratches are very similar in the two stamps.
