Airmail definitives

Airmail definitives may have had a pecular postal usage to start with but in the end usually get mixed up with the "normal " postage stamps. Catalogues sometimes put the airmail stamps at the "back of book" but for collectors they really should be placed next to the normal ones. The variation in printing methods and paper types usually goes hand in hand with the normal stamps and they better be studied simultaneously...
