I am very much aware of the fact that what we have been describing as characteristics all belong to the darker red cylinder and NOT to the light rose back-ground!
The back-ground seem to have disappeared in the below stamp:

Re: P&R I 25c Agriculture
Combining the finds of "educ" and myself I made a page of all known characteristics for the 2nd [?} plate of the 25c Labrador:

Re: P&R I 25c Agriculture
The 25c Servicio Oficial on coated paper [1949] has the rose printed over the red:
It is NOT because the red plate was worn out - I at first also couldn't believe my eyes! - but simply the switch of colours just as the Casa de Moneda had done for the 50c! In the same period! Any doubt about the 50c S.O. on coated paper?????

Re: P&R I 25c Agriculture
The so-called national papers of the PyR I series have been described by mr Bardi as having a transposed watermarked except for a few values like the 25c and the 30c. I had already expressed my doubts. The 25c below has the typical indents [of both the Zarate grené and the Zarate no watermark papers] at the front of the stamp. The back of the stamp indeed also shows the grain [rhomboids] that are characteristic for the symmetrical paper mesh we find not only in imported papers but in the Zarate papers as well!

Un gran saludo a todos y que tengan un buen año, con salud, trabajo y diverción filatelica
I do not quite get it! BUT, in my part of sheet of the 25c on orthogonal watermark with symmetrical paper mesh and Zárate paper, a few characteristics did DISAPPEAR or suddenly show up!

Re: P&R I 25c Agriculture
Both are Asymmtrical - see the light blue lines! - and as such can be Rayos Rectos Nitidos! Or RR 2! Both of them!
