I try to find informations on the fonopost stamps of argentina (different letters, records, cancellations, postal rates ...)
All informations interest me on the fonopostal service.
Has anybody such informations ??

I've a few letter of this fonopost :
- 28 c (11.10.1939) on a letter send in USA,
- 67 c (19.10.1939) on a registered letter send in USA,
- 10 c (7.3.1942) on a letter send in Argentina,
- 56 c (17.8.1939) on a letter send in Austria,
- 45 c (2.12.1940) on letter send in USA.
(All these letters haven't the fonopost stamps).

The fonostal stamps where at (why the price is > ?) :
- 1.18 pesos
- 1.32 pesos
- 1.50 pesos

Can't you help me in order to understand all these postal rates ?

That's strange, I'm not an expert in postal history, but from what I know the face values you mention don't match any rate either by ship, by air or registered. ¿Do you have scans or pictures of the covers?
I think the fonopostal stamps include in their price the cost of buying and recording the disks.

All stamps have a cancellation with "Fonopost - Buenos Aires - Argentina"

Muy buen dato esa bandeleta; parece que efectivamente funcionaba el servicio a domicilio: te llevaban un camión del correo con un estudio de grabación encima para grabar el disco en la puerta de tu casa1!!

Hola a todos,
a raiz de un post reciente sobre los sellos fonopostales, encontre este otro acerca de la bandeleta parlante que promocionaba el servicio.
Desgraciadamente la imagen del post de MauroM no se ve, pero por suerte pude encontrar una bandeleta de las mismas.

Mi sobre es de 1942 pero vi otro de 1944, es decir que estuvo vigente bastante tiempo.

La publicidad reza: "SERVICIO FONOPOSTAL A DOMICILIO - LLAME A RETIRO 6339"
