The 1c D.F. Sarmiento has 2 types when you look at the right bottom corner. Type I [is it really the oldest one??] has NO break, type II has a tiny break:
The tiny break:
1st column, 8th row:
6th column, 8th row:

The 1c D.F. Sarmiento most likely has a root block of 5x5 of which we can see 2 parts here with 2 major characteristics- the broken top frame and the white dot stuck to the "R":

Normando,
thank you, but why not use a high resolution to start with??? This way I cannot see a thing! NADA!
When you are scanning stamps always use the HIGHEST resolution your scanner allows you to!!!
Can you get 1200dpi? Use it! Even higher? OK!
The JPG files should have at least 150Kb; files of 50Kb or lower had better go to the litter box!

Normando,
much better!
But you should try to find characteristics that will be repeated in other stamps! Like the characteristics I displayed. In offset-litho every stamp can has "something" that was just ephemeral - a tiny dust particle or such - so try to look for the repetition!
