Mr Rein, with all due respect, you are talking non-sense, and you have no idea about we are talking about.Rein escribió:But you must have been concentrating too much on mint stamps just like Jorge ..........
I am very sorry, but we - Jorge, you and me - are all referring to the same stamps - papel rayado or whatever you call it.
This is not a trial, it is not about proofing anything. If I wanted to attempt something closer to a proof, then of course I would have posted scans of used stamps (which I didn't).Rein escribió:I do know what I am talking about! And you haven't proven me wrong

I wasn't (or at least I didn't mean to be) offensive when I said that you don't know what you are talking about. As I explained in the previous post, you simply can't know what is "papel rayado" and what is not. That's what I meant when I said that you don't know what you are talking about. The reason that you can't know, it is because it is completely up to us (argentinian philately) to decide what is a "rayado" and what is not. The only way that you could learn is the same way that all of us learnt, somebody else (that already knew) showed several stamps and told us something like "these ones are rayado, those are not".

Ahh, ok. First thing first. I apologize, it was a scan issue. I agree now that they are "rayado". I will comment more later.Rein escribió:How easy the eye gets tricked! Just turn the stamps 90 degrees in your scanner! And your beloved Rayado will reveal Himself:
