The Stickney presss as used by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington for US stamps, or for Swedidsh stamp by the Post Office Printing Works or the Graphical Printing House in Prague for Czechoslowakian stamps, was basically the same as the press that was employed in Mechelen by the Belgian Post Offfice!
Four [4] printing houses did use the Stickney press at all for the printing of postage stamps and the Belgian printing house introduced the machine in 1927 and kept using for until 1950!
