Hi!

My Name is Marek and I'm from Slovenia - first at all greetings to all of You!

With many old stamps from Argentina I have also find this one - please see my ATT - The stamp was scaned in 600 DPI (front and back side).

So my question is - is this stamp a forgery!?

I have found this stamp with some others (cca 100 stamps) from Argentina - there is probably possibilty that the others stamps are forgery too or is it just this Stamp!? The other stamps are till 1950.

Marek, hard to tell without seeing them. But most stamps, especially later ones, weren't forged as much as the classic "steamboat" you showed above.

Hi Marek, if you are not sure, you should post them at Sellos Postales de la Argentina subforum: viewforum.php?f=3 ; some administrator will move it to the right place.
Regarding fake stamps, almost all fake stamps are the classic ones, being the most common these barquitos(steamboats) and Escuditos. Stamps after 1870 are generally genuine.

Marek es de Eslovenia y pregunta si esta estampilla que posee es falsa (Jorge le confirmó que sí) y luego dice que tiene varias estampillas más (hasta cerca de 1950) y quiere saber si son falsas o no. Pregunta dónde postearlas, y le sugerí hacerlo en Sellos Postales de la Argentina si no está seguro.
También agrego que casi todas las estampillas falsas de Argentina se dan en los clásicos, siendo las más comunes los Barquitos y los Escuditos.
