1943 - RR 1 of Italian paper, orthogonal watermark, vertical direction of paper, symmetrical wire structure,
1943 - MI 4 or Wiggins Teape parallel watermark, vertical direction of paper, symmetrical wire structure, density 24/22

1946 - SF 1 or Zárate unwatermarked, vertical direction of paper, symmetrical wire structure,
1947 - SF 3 or Zárate unwatermarked, vertical direction of paper, grain or wire structure hardly visble

1948 - MI 5 or or Wiggins Teape parallel watermark, vertical direction of paper, Asymmetrical wire structure, density 30/18

The blue lines indicate the diagonal lines connecting the "hills" of the symmetrical wire.

This is one of the common versions of the 1/2c Belgrano!

This is the most difficult type of paper to establish for sure! The symmetrical wire structure is clearly visible but the watermark can be doubtful!?

Of the 1/2c there is only ONE type of Rayos Rectos! That is correct but on the whole the RR difusos and the RR nitidos may give problems to distinguish!

As you can see in the scans the watermark itself is not so visible.... But in another thread Omar Perez and Tony Rubiera showed us their doubts about how to recognize the 2 types of RR!

Los sellos sueltos de estos valores menores son muy dificiles para recononcer como rayos rectos paper difuso de 1943. Los unicos del 1/2c, por ejemplo, que yo con ciencia cierta recnozco sobre este papel son cuadros de cuatro que tube suerte comprar. La malla de rayos ondlados tiene mucha variacion y hay partes que se pueden confundir con rayos rectos.

Este ejemplo espero sirva de referencia.

Si este existe sobre ese papel, debe ser muy raro, y es posible que exista. El 1/2 c es muy raro.
