Concerning dates I think Juso can give exact ones as they appear in tender´s winners roll.
Now, concerning eliptical or round sun in ALPAMIJ papers I think its a question of the dandy roll speed. If itis low it will be elliptical, if it goes at normal velocity the sun is round, Dard Hunter explains this very well. Furthermore, I have some pieces of 4 or more stamps where you can see round and ellipticall ones suns mingled in the same piece. Best regards,
José
José,

I find more round suns than elliptical ones but I also have blocks of 4 or more with both shapes....

The JSM series has several "multinegative" or systematic flaws that originate from a very early step in their reproduction!

The "slash" and the 'trema" even occur in most values both with or without dot!

Just a few characteristics can be treated as plate flaws but there always should be more than one copy to be shown to make sure it is not a "fly speck" .

But having a closer look you can see difference between the 3 copies!

So it still may be a systematic characteristic....

Rein: there exits a study by Walter B. L.Bose depicting different flaws made on root blocks when the San Martín with and w/out
point set was put into circulation. I shall look for them to post them to you.
By the way look for the 25c violet and you´ll see that there are two different Cs accompanying the cypher 25. If you can locate them please illustrate for the Foro pals. Best regards,
José
